The Hot Club of Berlin Presents: Sebastian Peszko Quartet

"The  Hot Club of Berlin Presents" is a monthly concert program of the finest  Gypsy Jazz, Swing and acoustic music, hosted at 800a Bar and Cabaret.  On the first Saturday of each month we invite a band from the vibrant  Gypsy Jazz and Swing scene to perform. This month we are proud to  present the Sebastian Peszko Quartet.

Sebastian Peszko is a  cross-genre violist, composer and studio musician. His compositions and  performances present a fusion of different musical styles, mixing  Classical Music with Jazz Manouche, Jazz, Blues and World Music. Opening  in this way new horizons, especially for the charming sound of the  viola, with which Peszko takes his listeners from 1930s Paris to the  remote Appalachian mountains.

After graduating from the Royal  College of Music in London and from the Manhattan School of Music in New  York, where he obtained his Master’s Diploma, he worked as a freelancer  with many different international artists, orchestras and bands.

This evening he will be sharing the stage with Fredi Gebhardt and Francisco Batista on Guitars and Max Hartmann on Bass.
